Jackrabbit Registration and Parent Info Seminar

Jackrabbit program registration will be on Saturday, October 1 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Wax Room at Mt Mac.

On the same day, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. there will be a clinic to provide Jackrabbit parents with information they will need for buying or renting ski equipment, for starting a wax kit and outfitting their children for a winter of fun!

The seminar, sponsored by The Ski Base, will be in the Wax Room downstairs at the Mt Mac Rec Centre.  Call The Ski Base for details.  The seminar will cover these topics:  how to buy equipment for your Jackrabbit - whether at the ski swap or sport stores, how the season rental program works, clothing requirements, waxing, and how to sign up for extra lessons with the SnowFun program.

For more information call the Program Manager, Sarah Murray at 668-4477 or e-mail her at programs@xcskiwhitehorse.ca

Annual Ski Swap and Winter Fair - October 15

One of the main fundraisers for the ski club is the annual ski swap and winter fair which is on the morning of Saturday, October 15.  Start pulling your used but good quality nordic and downhill skis, boots, poles, snowboards, and other outdoor gear together.

It takes many volunteers to make this event happen.  If you'd like to help out either before, during, or after the event, please call (668-4477) or email the Club office.

New This Year - Try Our Trails Passes
